The mathematics are wrong
The time it takes to heal
Approximately being
The time that was spent
Yet somehow there’s no time in the world
To heal this hurt
As if time itself
Was not the cure
But just the mend
Time amend

Leaving the people best to me
Maybe you’ll give me another chance
Darkness overcame me
Don’t remember it
Slicing the wound and stabbing it further
Drowning the sorrow and abusing the substance
Delve into the numb and surround in feel
And either stop there or step into the darkness

Where you slice open the wound and stab it further
Where you write these words you don’t remember writing
Where you don’t fear death
Because you’re too overcome
By the blame
Where you think you caused your own pain
And are blind to rationality
Because deep down in that dark
Where it’s so alone and empty
You think you caused your own loneliness
So full of regret
To the people you once loved
And who loved you
And to get out of that dark you pay a price

You slice the wound and stab it further
And the dark doesn’t visit you again for a while
Hopefully
