Marlon Witte

In my Media Art studies working as a multidisciplinary artist, I had the opportunity to work in the intersections of sound and visual media. My creative collaborations, include soundtracks and sound design for films and games, as well as covers and original compositions. I try to craft immersive auditory experiences that enhance storytelling across media.

This soundtrack accompanies the student-made game demo ‘Compulsion’. With an additional feature with Jakob Jarzina, the soundtrack consists of experimental, alien synths and ambiences.

Created for the student film A Turn on Life, this 13-minute film relies entirely on visuals and sound, as it features no dialogue. The soundtrack uses techniques like Mickey Mousing to synchronize closely with the on-screen action. Piano melodies and subtle ambient effects form the backbone of the score, enhance the film’s emotional resonance.
